Gysinge manor car park

Functional, but a bit boring, car park in a beautiful location.

The car park at Gysinge Manor can be said to have an excellent location in the Gysinge mill area with the water on one side and the manor house on the other. In addition, the site is right next to Färnebofjärden National Park. Imagine what could have been done with this!

Unfortunately, they haven't really succeeded here, but the car park itself is part of the regular parking area. There are about 20 spaces and these are most easily paid for with a regular parking app. It is not possible to book in advance but as there are so many places, it is certainly no danger, it was far from full when we were here.

All pitches have electricity and there are toilets and showers up at the mansion, as well as fresh water. The facilities are somewhat worn and undersized but it was relatively fresh and well cleaned. Unfortunately, there are no emptying facilities, but this may be difficult to organise in a place like this.

Restaurant Orangeriet seen from the car park

The advantage of the car park is the nice area, even if the car park itself is boring. You have several restaurants and cafés nearby, there is a Naturrum and some stalls and shops. It is also a good starting point for hikes in the national park.
