Just a short distance outside Varberg along the Kattegatt Trail you will find Björkängs hostel which has 8 pitches with electricity. The pitches are right next to the hostel where you will also find the freshest service house we have been to. Showers and toilets are brand new and very nice. The dishwashing station was outdoors which was a bit sad on a cold April day but works just fine in summer.
Outside the service building, there is water and grey water drainage and latrine where they found a creative solution they call "grey water taxi". Smart when there is no ground well.
The pitches are not bookable but it was no problem for us to get a place. It may be more crowded during holiday periods and it may therefore be good to call beforehand.
