This pleasant campsite is just a kilometre and a half walk along the Göta Canal from Söderköping. Here, almost all pitches have a canal view and you can sit and watch the boats go by. You can book your place at camping.se.
The campsite is large but still feels familiar and cosy, perhaps because there are large pitches and no crowding. All facilities are available and the service buildings are fresh. There is also a washing machine and dishwasher. If you are tired of barbecue or camping food, there is a food truck with really good Thai food at the campsite.
The setting is exciting, with the large ship's dock dividing the whole campsite in half. You can't help but wonder how long the boat has been in dock. 🙂
