We are two people who enjoy life and like to add a bit of flavour to it. We are also relatively new motorhome enthusiasts and bought our first motorhome last year but are already on our second car, a Roller Team Kronos Fit.
Our names are Eva and Henrik, we live in Karlstad and work as lawyers and business developers respectively. In our spare time, we like to find things that make us feel a little extra good. It can be anything from a hiking trip to a tasting menu at a fancy restaurant.
On the Barely Steering page, we will have posts about the pitches and campsites we stop at. We will also write about things we learn about motorhome life, like how it is good to load the car heavy enough to get under a low bridge. 🙂
We love small forest campsites and smaller pitches. The big campsites may be practical but oh so boring, so they may get an undeservedly low rating from us. Instead, we hope to find the little gems run by enthusiasts in the countryside.
Why is the site called Barely Steering Speed? Well, because it goes so slowly when we are travelling. We're always finding something exciting to stop and look at, and you don't get very far in a day. Our record may be Karlstad to Borås in three days, slowcation at its best.
