Uskavi farm<\/a> is a large campsite with hostels, chalets and pitches for tents and motorhomes\/caravans. Despite its size, it is still relatively quiet here. The campsite is divided into several areas, which makes it possible to choose whether you want hustle and bustle or a little more peace. As you can see in the picture below, we had plenty of space to spread out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are of course all the facilities here with several service houses of various kinds. Some are smaller with just a couple of toilets and showers, but there is also a large house that also houses the kitchen and living room. Everywhere is well cleaned and during the short time we were there it was cleaned several times. The reception has a small shop with a simpler range of food and sweets but unfortunately no breakfast bread. If you get hungry, there is both a caf\u00e9 and a restaurant that is open between 11 and 17. We got there late in the evening so we did not have time to test them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The campsite is located down by Lake Usken and when all the bathers left for the evening, we enjoyed a beautiful sunset.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While you're in the neighbourhood, don't miss the Uskavi limestone quarry, a lagoon formed by hundreds of years of limestone mining. The water is bright green and crystal clear. The quarry is 11 metres deep at its deepest point and there is a table set up at the bottom. However, it is not visible from the shore and you need to dive down to the bottom to see it. Scary and a little weird, but pretty exciting anyway. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\n\n\n
