Bauerg\u00e5rden is actually an inn and conference hotel but also has stand<\/a>r for those of us who have the house with us. There is space for 70 motorhomes, about half of which are bookable. On these pitches you have artificial grass, your own electrical socket and, lo and behold, a TV socket. So don't forget the aerial cable. The non-bookable pitches also have electricity but are on real grass and are a little more uneven.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because it is such a large (a bit too large?) caravan site, there are of course all the facilities you could wish for. There is a service building with fresh toilets, showers and washing machine. On the outside of the building there is space to wash dishes. If you want to complain about something, I would probably have preferred that there were real shower rooms and toilets rather than stalls, but if you are not so shy, it's fine. At the side of the service building there is water filling and emptying.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When you stay here, you have access to Bauerg\u00e5rden's restaurant, outdoor gym and beautiful swimming area. At the bathing area you can also book a hot tub, rent a canoe or take a sauna. There are also more showers in the lake cabin. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The car park is ideally located for hiking or cycling. Several of the trails start from the farm and there is information about the trails inside the reception. After a long day out in nature, it is also luxurious to sit down at a set table and have a good dinner. We tried one of their experience menus one of the evenings. A fun concept with local roots, storytelling and good food. It is equally luxurious to be able to pick up fresh rolls for breakfast the next morning. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was very difficult to rate this place. Actually, the site is excellent with all the facilities you could need, a nice restaurant and good location for hiking. However, we feel that the caravan park is too big and the motorhomes are packed in a row in a rather poor way. So what could be a ten-pointer still ends up on a good eight for this reason.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
