Here you can stay with a fantastic view of Lake V\u00e4ttern. The View Sweden<\/a>, just south of Hjo, offers 26 pitches where you can opt for electricity if you wish. Half of the pitches are bookable but be aware that the VIP shelf, with the very best view, can be booked several months in advance. However, the views in the other seats are not to be missed either, so there are seats available even at short notice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The site is run by a family who have a horse farm in the area and the atmosphere is familiar and relaxed. You feel immediately welcomed when you arrive. In addition to the caravan park, they have a restaurant where you can get all the meals of the day as well as coffee. You can also buy bread for breakfast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It has all facilities except latrine emptying. They also have a washing machine that can be booked. Instead of the usual \"camping stalls\" with toilets and showers, they have real bathrooms which feels very luxurious, especially after a few weeks out on tour. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is really an incredibly nice car park and a very nice environment. What would have given this site a 10 is if there had been grass on the pitches and gravel where you park the car, it would have given a more cosy environment. The car park is relatively new and they told us that they have lots of different projects going on, so maybe we will have grass to put our feet on next time we come. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
