This is also a swimming complex with several heated outdoor pools. It is a nice area with large, lush green spaces, and if you don't need electricity, you can pitch up almost anywhere on the site. What lowers the rating is that the amenity blocks are very worn and were also rather poorly cleaned when we were there. That sort of thing always feels a bit grotty. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Something that does stand out, however, is the campsite's restaurant. We arrived a bit late on a Sunday and much of it was closed, so we decided to go there. It's located in a rather boring and run-down building adjacent to the swimming area. Imagine our surprise, though, when we got there. The restaurant is run by a German chef whose speciality was homemade schnitzel. This signature dish was really delicious and was even paired with a glass of Riesling from the chef's own vineyard back in Germany.
