Just south of Gjøvik we found the caravan park at Furuseth farm. It's a really scary gravel road down to the farm and the beautiful caravan park by Lake Mjøsa. Fortunately, the road is not very busy, but is only shared by a couple of houses so the risk of meeting is probably quite small. The caravan park has fourteen pitches, about half of which have electricity, which makes it a very quiet and scenic place. Perfect for serving a bottle of bubbly by the beach and enjoying the sunset.
It's a simple place without much facilities, there's a toilet and there's fresh water to fill up. Unfortunately they don't have a shower, but what's the point when you can just jump in the lake.
