If you want a campsite near the lake, this is an excellent choice. Lysvik Campsite is a relatively small campsite with both seasonal and regular pitches. When we were here many years ago, the ”seasonals” had all the waterfront sites but this time it was more mixed. Great that all guests now get a chance to get a really beautiful place. In addition to camping, there are also cottages for rent.
På Lysviks camping finns de flesta faciliteter med toaletter, duschar och ett litet kök. Allt är av lite äldre snitt men ändå rent och fräscht. Det finns också färskvatten och möjlighet att tömma toatank, dock inte gråvattentömning. Kanske är det svårt att fixa så nära vattnet?

In Lysvik you hardly need to go hungry. Less than a kilometre along the beach is Grandma's ice cream parlour, a summer café known for its ice cream creations.
If you prefer to stay at the campsite, you can visit the restaurant The Pearl of Fryken. Here we had a good dinner in a rustic setting with an incredible view of the water.
Sammantaget är Lysviks camping en trevlig camping i vacker miljö. Vi besökte campingen under helgen då Smaka på Värmland pågick och området var fullt med lokala producenter som sålde sina produkter, vilket gjorde vår vistelse extra bra.
