Do you want to live close to nature but without travelling too far from the city? Björsjöås is the place for you. 30 minutes north-east of Gothenburg, in the middle of the Vättlefjäll nature reserve, you'll find this pitch located on a farm. Here, you can park your motorhome on the farm, right outside the barn. You book a spot via Park4Night or via the farm's website.
The facilities are simple but there is a toilet and shower, plus access to electricity. In the summer, you can also buy ice cream or have pancakes and jam for breakfast. I'm guessing the eggs come from the farm's own chickens. 🙂
The farm is located 5 kilometres inside the nature reserve and the road is very narrow and steep. This is therefore not a place for a large motorhome. However, after driving along the narrow road, you will find a cosy oasis close to hiking trails and Stora Björsjön lake. If you want to go out on the lake, you can rent canoes or the farm's rowboat.
