Camp Furan is located adjacent to Furuparken, about 6 kilometres from central Östersund. It is a practical motorhome stop with 19 pitches, run by the local sports club. There is no electricity, but toilets and showers are available in a large trailer, which is really new and fresh. You can also empty your toilet cassette and fill up with fresh water, but unfortunately, there is no facility for emptying grey water.
The space is bookable via this link and it's really good value for money for this simple place. It is a bit outside town after all, but there is public transport and there's a good cycle path all the way into town.
As a bonus, you can try car bingo two evenings a week during the summer. With a bit of luck, you might even boost your holiday fund? 🙂
