The best thing about Treens camping is clearly the location. The campsite is sandwiched between two lakes, Stor- and Lill-Treen, which means you are surrounded by water. For those who like to swim, the beach is just a few metres from where you stand. The campsite welcomes both motorhomes and caravans as well as tent guests. There is also a caravan park nearby but we did not find it as fun as it was not the same nice view. The caravan park cannot be booked, but the campsite can.

Being a campsite, they have all the facilities you could need, with toilets, showers and a fully equipped kitchen. A bit older perhaps but still fresh and tidy. There are also a few outhouses, washing-up stations and barbecue areas here and there.

Adjacent to the campsite there is a car park where several hiking trails start. There are several routes and distances of varying lengths so you can always find a tour that suits you. Many of the trails are inspected and approved as Hiking Värmlands trails, which is an award from Visit Värmland.
