This large yet small campsite is in a scenic location with its own swimming lake in Soltau, right between Hamburg and Hannover. You can book a pitch via their web.
The campsite seems to be mainly for seasonal guests and these pitches honestly look terrible but in the middle of this there is a lovely woodland glade which they let out for occasional guests.

As the large campsite this is after all, there are all facilities and even things that are not always available, such as washing machine, shop and restaurant. Everything is clean and in good condition.
Remember to bring cash as the campsite does not accept cards, as is often the case in Germany.

We had a cosy evening in our little forest glade and when evening came the area was lit up by all the fairy lights and lanterns that adorned the large variety of tents, home buildings and motorhomes. A relaxed and personalised camping experience.
