Minicamping de Goudsbloem

Charming campsite in Dutch Zeeland.

In the Netherlands there is something they call minicamping. This camping, just over half a mile from the pleasant town of Middelsburg is one such. It is just as the word sounds a smaller campsite with up to about 20 places and with all facilities, but with much more charm than regular campsites. Often they are run by a farmer and this campsite is no exception as it is run by a couple of sheep farmers.

You can book your place by calling or emailing them in advance. When you arrive, you will be greeted by a lady who will show you around and explain how everything works. There are all the facilities and also a room with sofas, fridge, microwave and a small shop with sweets, wine and other things you might need on a campsite. You can also order bread for breakfast here. Remember to bring cash as the farm does not take cards.

A very nice and charming campsite. An extra plus is that you got a small candy on departure, a nice touch.
