Westerqvarn is actually a restaurant in an old mill right by the Strömsholm Canal, but they also have 60 pitches for motorhomes, 40 of which have electricity. They were in the middle of expanding the pitches when we visited, so I imagine soon there will be electricity at all of them. The pitches are spread across the area, offering spots by the canal as well as prime views of the stage – perfect for when your favourite artist is performing. Prices vary depending on the pitch you choose, but all are good value for money.
In addition to the restaurant, ice cream bar, and stage, you'll also find all the services you need for a pitch here. Kitchen, toilets and showers, and even a washing machine. You can also refill water and empty greywater and chemical toilets. Pitches can be booked at Westerqwarns. website.
We thought Westerqwarn was a really nice stop on a sunny summer evening. We got a very tasty pizza from their wood-fired oven and could sit outside in the sun and enjoy it.
